1. EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE & BOARD
- Responsible for setting strategic direction for the association
- Suggest new initiatives for the association to focus on
- Brainstorm to increase relevance, core knowledge and provide growth potential to members
- Establish The International Publication Planning Association as the preeminent trade association of the publication planning function/industry on an international basis by establishing liaison relationships with relevant global organizations
- Assign specialized task forces when the need arises
- Assist in the promotion of the association internationally
2. EDUCATIONAL COMMITTEE
- Seek ideas for highly relevant additions to the website and newsletters
- Leverage The International Publication Planning Association’s diverse membership base to provide greater growth
- Identify key leaders in the industry to contribute to website and newsletter content
- Identify key leaders in the industry to participate in the Annual Publication Planning conference
- Identify industry educational needs
- Develop seminar topics and sessions for the annual conference based on identified educational needs
3. MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
- Ensure current members are satisfied with the association
- Responsible for seeking new members who will benefit from joining the association
- Help promote the association internationally
- Establish an annual membership drive
- Establish regional heads for members
4. AWARDS COMMITTEE
- Determine award areas
- Determine criteria for awards
- Choose award recipients through a democratic voting process
